About Me
I am a former teacher and administrator with extensive experience that helps me make appropriate decisions on the school board.
Having served on the West Ada board of trustees for over one and a half years, I understand the amount of collaboration it takes to be an effective board member.
Why Am I Running?
- Ensure that both teachers and parents play a role in the education of our children.
- Ensure that classrooms stay free of distractions.
- Ensure that each child has a chance to succeed both in the classroom and in life.
Why Choose Me?
- As both the incumbent and a former teacher, I have the knowledge and experience to ensure that West Ada remains the shining example of education in Idaho.
- I will help ensure that schools are filled with content that is appropriate for each grade level and appropriate for schools.
What Have I Done?
- Voted for and helped form policy 401.20, which keeps classroom content neutral and free of distraction.
- Visited schools both in and out of West Ada, met with building administrators, and participated in “Principal for a Day” to see the needs of teachers and staff.
